Abstract

Four improved maize varieties and a local variety were crossed for the production of progenies. Seed quality evaluation was carried out in a screen house, where some agronomic variables of the maize seed were assessed. Results showed that all the progenies had better performance than their parents. Thus concluding that all the hybrids were superior than their parents.
